Tue April 19 - I'M TOTALLY BUGGED!

It was a great day for an
Administrative Assistant's Luncheon.

We had a number of guests in attendance
and had the distinct opportunity to hear
a presentation on Bed Bugs!

There was a lot of squirming and scratching going on
as we learned the datails of the dreaded bed bug
and how prolific they have become lately.

Our presenter, Kevin Thorne,
brought far more pictures than most wanted to see,
as well as a jar of bed bugs for those who were tough enough
to pass around and look at up close.

Laurie Liddell got real close
and let a couple of them nibble her arm...

Quite an interesting Admin Asst Day!

For those wondering who won the "pop top prize":
Travis Rose guessed the bag of pop tops weighed 5.0 pounds.

Actual weight was 5.1 pounds.
Nice job Travis!

Good afternoon, Rotarians and guests!
Welcome to the Brigham City Rotary Website/Blog.

Meeting was a little sparsley attended today.
We had a number of people missing and/or excused.

We extend condolences to Rotarians Paul Damon
on the passing of his mother-in-law
and Bruce Vellinga
on the passing of his brother this last week.
Our prayers are with you and your families.

Welcome home Richard Scott!
It's good to have you back with us for the summer.

Rae Riser brought us up to date on community happenings
and a quartet sang Happy Birthday to Ken Kennedy.

Larry Boyer was kind to us today
but gave some clues about important April dates
we should all be aware of for the next meeting.
April 19th. Hmmmmmm?

Bruce Vellinga introduced our speaker today
since Laurie Vellinga was unable to attend.
Something about seawater and free food...

Dan Manning, from the Ogden/Weber ATC
was our speaker today. He presented information
about the State "Custom Fit" training program
helping businesses become more productive and efficient.

Thanks, Dan, for sharing with us today.

Next week, Dave Farnes is in charge of the program
and he promises it will be a good one!
