Our speaker this week was Jim Darcy with Nucor Corporation. He shared with us some history on Nucor and gave us some insight on their philosophies. He shared with us some statistics on the current economy and his three keys to turning it around.

This week's announcements

We had a club assembly this week. We discussed the current status of the club and received several updates from different committees. Jodi McFall discussed our finacial picture. Bruce Vellinga covered attendance. Dan Hansen spoke about the current club operations. Jim Moore talked about some upcoming changes to the grant process. Terre Moore gave us an update on the Interact club. Jeremy Barber gave a demonstration of the club's blog.

Tuesday Jan, 12th

Rotarian Wally Brown spoke to us about the upcoming Rotary Council on Legislation. He shared a few of the changes that have been submitted for review.

Tuesday Jan, 5th

Our speaker was Monte Eggett form the Hope Alliance. He shared information about the library project in Peru. We partnered with the Hope Alliance to help build a new library and provide books for five libraries.
