That man is here for the sake of other men." ~ Albert Einstein

Wednesday, Sept 4, 2013

We took a detour and held meeting on Wednesday this week to accommodate our featured speaker.

We had the privilege of hearing from Amy Wilde as she discussed her experiences and the importance of not only a persons own "real beauty" but the need of "being the one" in the life of another person and providing strength to those around us each day.

Amy lives in harper Ward and grew up locally. She works in Ogden and is a regular contributor to KSL, The Mormon Times, The Deseret News and many other publications.

She will be releasing her book "White Bees" this fall which is a personal memoir of her experience dealing with life and its many challenges.

Thanks Amy for sharing you're amazing, and very touching, story!

PEACH DAYS!!

Peach Days is upon us.  Hopefully everyone has picked up their tickets and is ready to get selling.  Or maybe you're one of the lucky ones that has already sold all of your tickets.  If so, come on down to Forest and Main on Friday night or Saturday and sell some more.  This is our major fund raiser for the year.  Let's make it a great one!
